DOCUMENTING YOUR BIRTH STORY

Before I gave birth to my firstborn daughter, I spent a lot of time dreaming up what I wanted her birth day to look like. The moments of birth are some of the most powerful, impactful, and shaping moments a woman will experience. But, they are just that – moments. A photographer wasn’t something I considered having at my birth and I have spent so many days wishing that I had photographs to look back on to relive and feel that day. I believe that you should be able to remember and treasure those first moments with your baby – the first time you lay eyes on the soul and life you carried for the past nine months, feeling them on your chest, the innocence of your newborn baby’s face, the way your husband admires you and your tiny miracle. We all wish we could freeze those fleeting moments. My photography aims to do just that. You will look at your photos for years to come and all of the memories and emotions of the day will come rushing back to you. I am passionate about the birth experience. It is raw and meek, but strong and empowering all at once. I consider it a true honor to capture your unique birth story!
